Mixture
A mixture is the result of the union of two or more components physically united but not chemically combined. Chemical reactions do not occur in a mixture and each of its components retains its identity and chemical properties.
A mixture is the result of the mechanical bonding of chemicals without chemical bonding or other chemical changes.
Some mixtures can become reactive, that is, their components can react with each other under certain conditions. The components of a mixture can be:
- Solid
- Liquids
- Gaseous.
The mixtures are classified into:
Homogeneous: Its components cannot be differentiated with the naked eye.
Heterogeneous: It has a non-uniform union in which its components are easily distinguished.
Combination
