Law

The law is known as a legal rule dictated or established by a legislator. That is, a precept established only by a competent authority. The law commands or prohibits something in relation to justice. If a law is broken it carries a penalty.

Law is a norm issued by an authority that orders, prohibits, or allows something, therefore, the whole society owes it obedience.

They tend to limit free will within a society in order to regulate human behavior and govern social behavior.

They are usually dictated with an indefinite character or for certain facts. They will only lose validity through their repeal by subsequent laws.

There is also natural law, a law created by nature to maintain balance in various environments.

Regulation

A regulation is a general legal rule issued by a public Administration and subordinate to the law. It is a document that specifies all the rules necessary to regulate the activities of the members of a community. They usually lay the foundations for coexistence and their purpose is to prevent conflicts that may generate between individuals.

The approval of the regulations corresponds to the executive power but maybe the power of other state organs.

Regulation can also pertain to various sports organizations and various tables or video games. It is then a document established by a competent authority in the matter that regulates the actions of individuals.

Differences between Law and Regulation

• A regulation is a general legal document that is issued by a competent body and regulates human behavior to avoid conflicts. They are subordinate to the law.
